Founded and incorporated in 2002 The Russian American Dental Association (RADA), www.RussianDentist.org, is a national nonprofit organization with 501c(3) charity status. RADA is devoted to humanitarian and community work, as well as assisting dental professionals in their career goals, supporting research and providing education in the dental field
Russian-American Dental Association runs two major campaigns that offer services/ resources to people of all ages, socio-economic status and ethnic background:
Oral Cancer/Smoking Cessation Campaign is set out to educate dentists, physicians and the general public about this debilitating disease.  Free oral cancer screenings are offered annually in multiple locations of the NY tri-state area.Just as RADAis extending its oral cancer screenings into new communities, it is also making significant strides in reaching a younger audience through its “Kids 4 Kids” Anti-Smoking Campaign that includes “Young Musicians for a Smoke-Free Planet” concerts and “Kids Say No” art contest.  Winners are awarded monetary prizes.  In addition, the winning drawings are featured in the “Kids 4 Kids” annual journal.
Special Care for Special Needs Campaign is dedicated to improvement of medical and dental care for special needs patients as well as to improvement of their quality of life. It is designed to educate medical and dental professionals and general public about the specifics of medical and dental care of the people with various disabilities and to facilitate the access to such care for patients. Two major components of the Special Needs campaign: Professional Development/Awareness Program and Social Adaptation/Independent living advocacy. As part of this campaign, RADA partnered with Alpha Omega Foundation in organizing an annual Building Bridges Conference aimed to promote coordination of services from Healthcare providers, NGO’s and Government agencies for Youth and Families with Special Needs.

Rada Sumareva, DDS
President

Dr. Sumareva maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. After graduating with honors from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Sumareva received her certificate in Periodontics three years later. She has distinguished herself as the first place winner at the ADA and Greater New York Dental Meeting Research Table Clinic Competition. Dr. Sumareva has a very extensive background in oral cancer research, and immunobiology of periodontal disease. Her research yielded publications and presentations at national and local dental meetings.

Currently, Dr. Sumareva is serving as a judge (Basic Science Category) for the ADA’s scientific sessions. She’s a member of the OKU National Dental Honor Society’s Student Activities Committee. Member of SCADA Board of Directors.

Member of: Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, ADA, SCADA, North Eastern Society of Periodontology, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Zev Kaufman, DDS
Vice President

Dr. Kaufman has a New York City practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. After graduation with honors from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Kaufman completed a general dental practice residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He received his certificate in Prosthodontics from the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University, and continued his studies at the Department of Implant Dentistry and received his certificate in Implant Surgery and Restoration.
Currently, Dr. Kaufman is a clinical assistant professor at the department of Implant Dentistry at New York University, and presents a weekly seminar to the second year residents on Implant Prosthodontics. He has published nationally and internationally, and presented in major meetings including the Greater New York Dental Meeting and the Annual Northeast Implant Symposium.
Member of: Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.

Dmitry Stillman, DDS
Director of Foreign Affairs

Upon graduation from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Stillman continued his studies at NYU CD Postgraduate Department of Pediatric Dentistry. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Stillman had received numerous honors and awards. He maintains a private practice and is an attending dentist at Hackensack University Medical Center.
Dr. Stillman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association.

Arthur Greyf, DDS
Chair of Membership and Informatics Committee

Dr. Greyf is a general dentist and a partner in DNA Center for Laser Dentistry in Livingston, NJ. After receiving his DDS degree from New York University, Dr. Greyf Completed a General Practice Residency Program at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has served as an attending dentist at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and at Metropolitan Hospital Center in Manhattan.

Currently, Dr. Greyf maintains a quality dental practice emphasizing the foremost technological advancements in laser dentistry to provide his patients with best of care. Dr. Greyf’s commitment to education is evident. He is a proactive educator at the Metropolitan Hospital Center, and constantly pursues continual education courses.

Dr. David Poiman, DDS
Chair of By-laws committee

Dr. received a doctorate of dental medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. He was a recipient of The Delaware Valley Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Award for Oral Imlantology, The Crest Award for Excellence in Preventive Dentistry for the Elderly, and The American Academy of Oral Medicine Award for his graduating class. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at New York Medical College – Metropolitan Hospital.
Dr. Poiman received his Fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) in July 2004. He is an active member in American Dental Association, American Academy of Oral Medicine, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Oleg Drut
Chair of Continuing Education Committee

Dr. Drut maintains a private practice limited to orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. He is a board eligible orthodontist who is committed to being a leader in his profession. Dr. Drut uses state of the art technology that allows achieving the best possible results in the most conservative manner. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Drut received his certificate in Orthodontics two years later. In addition, he completed his residency in TMJ and oral facial pain disorders, and was elected to the orthodontic and oral medicine honors programs. Dr. Oleg Drut has participated in a number of internships and clinical presentations and worked as a teaching fellow at NYU Faculty Practice. He holds membership status in many professional organizations, including American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics and Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontics. Having achieved special recognition for his work in how orthodontic practices can best fulfill patients’ expectations, Dr. Drut remains dedicated to assisting patients in the development of those expectations and then fulfilling them.

Dr. Rozenblum
DDS

Dr. Rozenblum is an owner of practices limited to Endodontics with several associates in Bergen and Essex counties of NJ. Upon graduating from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery at the top of her class with an award from American Association of Endodontics, Dr. Rozenblum proceeded to receive her postgraduate training in Endodontics 2 years later at Columbia University. She is a clinical instructor of Endodontics at Hackensack University medical center GPR program and holds privileges at operating room of HCMU and Meadowlands Hospital for treatments of patients with special needs and fearful patients under general anesthesia. Dr. Rozenblum is a frequent presenter at Greater New York Dental Meeting, and has extensive background in pediatric endodontics and treatment of dental trauma.
