Russian-American Dental Association and Citibank partner to invite you to a seminar!

SEMINAR AGENDA

Topic: Oral Cancer: Histopathology and Differential Diagnosis

Presenter: Dr. Gwen Cohen Brown

This informational seminar will address issues of oral health and will provide additional information on oral cancer and other conditions of oral cavity. Dentists have always been “the first line of defense.” You may remember oral pathology with some fondness, or possibly with complete disdain. However, this seminar will remind you that patients not only come to dentists to fix a cavity. They come to you as doctors of the mouth, to assure oral health.

Dr. Gwen Cohen Brown is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry. She received her certificate in Oral Pathology from The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and her Sub-Specialty Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from SUNY Brooklyn. Dr. Brown has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of Oral Pathology and oral manifestations of HIV infections. She is published and holds staff/faculty appointment with most major New York area teaching hospitals.

Dr. Brown has helped set current standards of care in compromised patients at NYU, on the state level, and with the federal government.

2 CE Credits will be provided to cover New York state requirement for dental license renewal (for dentists and dental hygienists).*
